Ridgewood NJ, several residents who live in the area of Ridgewood’s Brookside Field have contacted us to report that the porta-potty there is frequently tipped over by vandals.
This property is owned and maintained by the Ridgewood Board of Education. We wonder why the Board of Education hasn’t taken steps to lash the potty to a fence, or to mount it to a concrete pod to prevent this from happening.
Residents have informed us that when the porta-potty is tipped over, urine and excrement smells permeate the neighborhood for days.
BOE budget is over $100 million. Is there any money available to fix this problem?
