Glen Rock NJ , The Glen Rock Police Department proudly announces that Sergeant Mike Trover has successfully graduated from the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP) Command & Leadership Academy, one of the most respected law enforcement leadership programs in the state.
A Major Milestone in Law Enforcement Leadership
The 13-week intensive leadership program, developed in collaboration with the United States Military Academy at West Point, focuses on enhancing the strategic decision-making, ethical leadership, and behavioral science application skills of law enforcement professionals. It is known for its highly competitive selection process and rigorous academic demands.
Participants engage in scenario-based learning, role-playing, and real-world application of behavioral science to better prepare them for leadership challenges in modern policing.

Sgt. Trover becomes the second Glen Rock Police Department leader in recent years to complete this elite training program. His achievement demonstrates both his personal dedication to professional growth and the department’s ongoing commitment to developing top-tier leadership within its ranks.
