River Edge NJ, Bergen County Historical Society’s Beverly Hashimoto presented The Oratam Award to two wonderful people at the dinner.
James McKane, for James’ involvement in the Brigade of the American Revolution through which his efforts bring the Revolutionary War to life at The Retreat of November 1776 at Historic New Bridge Landing both educating and enlightening our visitors as to the War’s impact on the residents of Bergen County and our Nation.
Regina Coyle, In appreciation of Regina’s continuing support of the mission of the Society to preserve and promote Bergen County’s rich history with generous donations. Regina’s attendance and enthusiasm affirm that we are reaching the public and are a splendid acknowledgement of the event volunteers.
The Oratam Award presented in recognition of significant contributions to history, historic preservation, restoration, interpretation, or volunteer effort in a particular field or programming event.
Lyle Timpson received the Westervelt Award & Kate Reilly the Kevin Wright Award but were unable to attend.
Our speaker, Michael Grillo regaled us about Washington much to everyone’s enjoyment.
The Bergen County Historical Society Annual Dinner took at the Barnyard & Carriage House 6/12/25 where we had a delightful repast.
