Twp. of Washington NJ, according to Township Mayor Peter Calamari as part of our ongoing commitment to health and community well-being, I’m proud to share that the Township’s Mayors Wellness Campaign has donated $500—raised through our Spring into Wellness 5K Run/Walk & Health Fair—to Jordan Schwartz, a student at Westwood Regional High School, in support of his incredible work to help screen teen athletes for Sudden Cardiac Arrest Syndrome.

Jordan’s efforts with www.mcorefoundation.org exemplify the spirit of leadership and service we strive to foster in our young residents. These screenings can help save lives, and we are honored to support this important cause.

Mayor Peter Calamari offered a special thank you to Councilmembers Daisy Velez and Tom Sears for organizing this year’s wellness event and helping to make this donation possible.
Saying,”Let’s continue to prioritize wellness in our community — together.”
