FAIR LAWN, NJ — The driver of a Buick Enclave SUV miraculously avoided serious injury after a late-night crash on Tuesday, July 1, that sent the vehicle careening off Route 4 eastbound near Saddle River Road and into a heavily wooded area along the Saddle River.

According to officials, the vehicle was traveling at high speed before veering off the road and crashing deep into the woods. Emergency responders rushed to the scene, where the Fair Lawn Rescue Squad used chain saws to clear thick tree branches, allowing a heavy-duty tow truck to remove the severely damaged SUV.
