PARK RIDGE, NJ ā Hollywood has come to Bergen County! Park Ridge is serving as one of the filming locations for the upcoming short film St. Joseph, which officially began production this week.
Mayor Keith Misciagna welcomed Director Maky Rupert along with producers Kaela Francesca and Kara Grace Miller, plus their dedicated film crew, as they kicked off a four-day shoot in Park Ridge.
A Heartfelt Story with Local Roots
St. Joseph follows the emotional journey of a group of estranged cousins who return to their now-empty childhood home. Their mission? To dig up a statue of St. Joseph that their Italian grandmother buried in the yard three decades ago for good luck.
The film explores themes of family, memory, and tradition, and Park Ridge is proud to play a role in bringing the story to life.
Park Ridge Shines on Screen
Local leaders expressed excitement about the project, noting that Park Ridgeās charm and character made it a natural fit for the production. āWe are absolutely thrilled that the filmmakers chose Park Ridge as one of their locations,ā Mayor Misciagna said.
As the cameras roll, residents are eagerly anticipating the finished film ā and the spotlight it shines on their community.
