WALLINGTON, NJ — Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in solving a shooting that occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, August 31, 2025, near the Market Street Bridge, which connects Wallington and the city of Passaic.
According to Wallington Police, officers responded at approximately 3:25 a.m. after receiving reports of gunfire in the area. Initial information indicated that a man was shot near the bridge, though officials have not yet released details regarding his condition.
