Saddle Brook NJ, A historic celebration is coming to Bergen County this Independence Day. In honor of the landmark 250th Anniversary of the United States, a local congregation is joining a massive, synchronized coast-to-coast event.
On July 4th, the First Reformed Church of Saddle Brook (located at 5 Ackerman Avenue) will host a special Fourth of July dedication service, culminating in a powerful national bell ringing ceremony.
Saddle Brook will officially join hands with hundreds of churches and communities across the country, letting their bells ring out simultaneously in a national display of unity.
Event Schedule & Festivities
Local residents, families, and visitors are invited to take part in the afternoon’s lineup of community events:

1:30 PM – Dedication Service: A patriotic service honoring the nation’s history and community milestones.

2:50 PM – National Bell Ringing: The moment the church bells chime in perfect unison with locations nationwide.

Post-Service Celebration: Free hot dogs and refreshments will be served for all attendees in the rear parking lot along Ackerman Avenue immediately following the ceremony.
