No problem adding hundreds of residents and cars a block from there and hundreds more nearby. Not a bit. Just set up a small emergency room on the corner of Walnut and Franklin instead of a parking garage.
Its ok to be struck by a Volvo. But god forbid it was an ‘suv’.
I am on the road all day and people need to just stop walking off in to the road. I see people not looking talking on the cell and just walk in to street. come on this is bull shit. cars can’t just slam on the brake’s.
people stop look and then walk in to the road. my mom and dad all ways told me to look both ways before walking in to the road.
Approve the Ken Smith project and we will some more traffic down Franklin.
If the do nothing police in the village would just enforce driving laws maybe that would help.
Next up: traffic light at that corner.
#3 is correct….this is the dumbest law I ever heard of and it’s just a revenue producer as towns entrap motorists with phoney pedestrians/cops. I was rear ended a year ago because I had to stop short when somebody just blew across a crosswalk with out even looking….and they didn’t bother to see if everyone was OK.
IQ levels in RW are dropping daily.
looking good bob hirsch.
Is this the first pedestrian hit in 2013 ?
Rigewood Police Dept. are not do nothings (#5). Proud of our police officers and firemen who serve The Village of Ridgewood.
