“I charge any reporter out there to further investigate this. There must be some reason that the board would sell out our village to have it become a city. Someone is getting something out of this and it isn’t the taxpayers. If I wanted a high-rise next to my kids school and in my neighborhood, I would have moved to a city. How come people in the lawns on pleasant can’t even add a porch to their houses but the board will approve a high rise next to a school in a residential area.”
