The state forces me to have car insurance but I would not complain. Where is the revolt?

Young “healthy” people need preventive care and they can havg health problems and they certainly have accidents. When the uninsured show up at the hospital we all pay for that visit. I don’t want to pay for your kids because they thought that they were invincible. They should need a credit card for a hospital admission.

What age or health crisis would be the tipping point where a “young” person decides to become insured?

If someone opts out of the system there should be a penalty when they decide to opt in. The Affordable Care Act will allow individuals to join with pre-existing conditions and they can join at any time. A person who opts out and then signs up after a car accident should be forced to pay for their “healthy” no premium years.

There are always people trying to live off the government and some millennials are known to be narcissistic. They have been given much and don’t know when it it time to pay up.

I am sure that they will argue that they pay into social security and are funding my retirement. I would be happy if they changed the system so that the money that I paid in over the years was returned with interest. Just give back me what I paid -like a forced retirement plan to go with my forced health insurance

  1. Put up a credit card if you are taken to the ER and for all medical services. If you don’t like affordable care then get off mom and dad’s medical insurance.

You cannot dodge your bills. And you cannot default on your student loans. The best things in life are free, but that does not include healthcare or free college.
