Ridgewood NJ, A t-bone collision between a Chevrolet Suburban SUV and Honda Odyssey minivan resulted in the Honda being sent up onto the front lawn of an East Ridgewood Avenue home during a heavy rainstorm on Sunday afternoon.  The Chevy’s driver was transported by ambulance to The Valley Hospital complaining of severe lower back and neck pain.  Two (2) occupants of the Honda refused medical attention at the scene.  Side curtain air bags were fully deployed in the Honda.  Both vehicles were heavily damaged and towed from the scene by flatbed tow trucks.  The collision occurred at the intersection of East Ridgewood and South Van Dien Avenues.  The accident remains under investigation by Ridgewood PD.

  1. Where the hell are the DPW workers? Oh its Sunday. Just Cops, Fireman and EMT work Sundays and Holidays for straight time.

  2. The Honda and airbags did their job. Strange that the driver of car that t-boned the Honda needed medical attention. Suburbans are big but their safety is not great.

….which is… their job. I do mine every day without whining about it publicly. Of course, I’m not brainwashed by a union.

  4. Yes you are right and the DPW is on this blog whining not the cops, fireman and emt’s .
This a work slow down by the DPW. they do this ever year for leaf pick to bring attention to themselves
