Ridgewood Police Warning – Potential Dangers of Playing in Giant Snow Piles
The accumulation of the past snow storms have formed giant piles of snow at the Graydon Pool parking lot and in other areas throughout the Village. These piles are potentially exciting places for children to play, not realizing the potential danger. As the temperatures change and at some point warm up, the snow can shift and the inner structure compacts to trap anyone climbing on the piles. We encourage parents and caregivers to discuss with their children the dangers of climbing on and playing in these snow piles, so that they remain safe in the winter weather
Thank you for this warning. I never would have thought of this hidden hazard.
I was waiting for the ROBO Call from the Mayor about this subject and all other information that he wil provided.
#2 Give it a break. We heard you already.
#3
Clearly you DID NOT hear us already, as yet another inane message came through today from the mayor. He is so transparent. This is an election year and he wants his team of three to look good, so,he can get two more team members elected. Paul, we are not stupid. We see what you are doing. Anything to keep your name out there. We are sick to death of you.
Also another danger. Dog poop. It appears that many Lazy inconsiderate pet owners use the snow to hide their piles of gold. Its gross and nasty. Pick it up!
Mayor your next Robo call should included a message to the inconsiderate dog owners that don’t pick up after their dogs. #5 is right.
Yes Mayor and Council your lies are building up faster then the piles of snow in the Graydon Parking Lot.
We received another robo call from Mayor Vaughn. He said it was really, really slippery so don’t go outside.
