Reader says Valley’s management has no one to blame but themselves

Valley’s management has no one to blame but themselves and their Board should start reflecting on the blatant errors made by its management in forward planning .They knew the zone, they knew the burdens that further expansion would bring, they knew of past decisions rendered yet they still tried to cram an overexpansion down this town’s throat with little regard to the host community. They had a golden opportunity to appease , serve and corner two rich areas by buying Pascack Valley for a song.. Instead they tried to shut it down . Embarrassing arrogance and incompetence and some should be held accountable for their lack of foresight. Time for some fresh thinkers at that institution that understand the need to explore other options.

  1. Thanks…. D

  2. This is what happens with management surrounds themselves with “yes men” (yes women in this case); they end up be believing their own rhetoric and egos and stopped looking and listening to reality. Management 101: “put people on your team who will tell you the truth, not what you want to hear.”

  3. If Valley doesn’t fire her, they’re crazy. Drill can go with her–just a hired hand anyway but his missteps were legion.

  4. Valley has been unable to get out of its own way for the past 7 years. Their executives and supporters have been arrogant, condescending and completely out of touch. They refused to recognize the fact that the number of people opposed to their poorly conceived plan has continued to grow.

  5. They even managed to tick off people outside of Ridgewood. That’s pretty hard to do.

  6. You can contribuite the down fall of the hospital since Audrey arrived…
have you ever spoken to anyone who works there? comptley
horrid storys have been spoken and no suprise with AM in the drivers seat.
some drastic changes have to be made at Valley….and it needs to start
    at the top.

  7. No fan of Myers, but for the Board to replace her means admitting they were wrong also.
