Reader says Deputy Mayor Albert Pucciarelli should resign
If the deputy mayor’s firm still does work for Valley, i think he should either resign from the council or have his firm agree they wont represent Valley for a period of at least two years after everything is resolved. Clearly, Al can’t participate in any discussions involving Valley and this is a time where we need our entire council in place. Valley has declared war against the Village and the Village needs to be at full force to respond.
The headline is deceiving — it never says who it is — it’s an isolated view — It serves no one —
It’s typical “Junk News” —
Dom time to take your meds
Come on JJ……… cool it.
not the Viagra the other one
I agree with the headline for many reasons. Let’s get the hot temper off the council and some calm thinkers on board.
If there is indeed a business conflict then I would agree but that should also go for anyone who is entangled in Valley’s web.
DOM loves the Three Amigos . He will go to the grave defending them.
Dom do me a favor, hold Rev Al hand. Please!
Deputy Mayor Albert Pucciarelli should not only resign but should also move out of town and take his buddy Dom with him. Hear that Rev. move far far away.
Orignal post was #7 but I return to restate my position because it wasn’t worded correctly. If conflicts exist, then people imo should recuse themselves and refrain from having any discussion with the remaining participants regarding the issue at hand. The latter is easier said than done but should be self enforced by the group. I don’t agree with any calls for resignation because people who serve will at times encounter certain conflicts . Comments by others about moving, meds etc were unnecessary and take away from a legitimate subject. As a former member of a Board of Adjustment, I always removed myself when a conflict was present even when a quorum was missing, even when I thought I could be unbiased. A hearing can always be rescheduled and there should be no gray area. I perceive Mrs, Hauck as having a conflict when it comes to Valley matters given her past role with them and I did not agree with former Major Pfunds participation on certain Valley issues years ago. Finally, the public should be attentive and vocal to issues of potential conflicts but their voices and comments should be civil , reasonable and to the points. The cleaner the democratic process is from all sides, the better.
Oh please, does anyone honestly think that Rev. Ego would ever EVER resign? We would never ever be so lucky
I completely agree with #11, however, it seems that none of the people mentioned could care less about being ethical when it comes to Valley. “Doing the right thing” is just not something they can relate to.
In my experience, those who SHOULD resign, NEVER DO.
