Reader says Valley has already lost to HUMC

Valley has already lost to HUMC. They’ve wasted 8 years trying to railroad a plan through that never had a shot at passing. Now at best they’ll get a watered down version of their plan which will be way too little and way too late to compete with Hackensack and Meridian.

If your kid falls off his bike take him to Valley – a boycott won’t accomplish anything. Sure, go ahead and have your babies at Valley too. Valley is a decent neighborhood hospital – run by people whose ambitions greatly exceed their abilities.

  1. How badly is Valley regretting not buying Pascack Valley Hospital now? They have quickly become the little fish swimming in a big ocean patrolled by the Great White Shark, Hackensack Medical Center. I have to think that their lawsuit will drag on for years, they will win, or lose and with appeals, Village Council rejection, more legal manuevering etc… the whole thing will drag on for even more years. And during that time health care, what it costs, and how it is paid for will change dramatically as the Gov’t gets further involved. It is only a matter of time before we have “The Valley Campus of The Hackensack Medical Center.”

  2. Let’s hope this comes to pass….

  3. Why give any business to Valley? Would you give business to anyone that was suing you? Well who do you think “Ridgewood” is? They are suing each and every tax payer.

  4. Valley is consistent in one thing: MAKING ALL THE WRONG MOVES AND DECISIONS. (over many years now)

When a team is doing horrible because of it’s management and coaches, what happens? They fire the GM and the coaches. This statement is so true for this hospital. It is time for a lot of people here at the top to go.

These not for profit people are being paid a lot of money to fail time and time again. What happens in the real world, Not ValleyWood, you are no longer wanted.
