   >Any tradition can be looked at through jaundiced eyes. Many of my out of town friends are impressed that the Villagers are so trusting. I even hear a bit of envy in their voices. Keep it up Ridgewood. Chairs are just one thing of many that sets us apart!

   >I am going to buy some cheap plastic chairs for next year. I was one of the only people standing on my block. I couldn’t even sit on the curb because the chairs were still tied together blocking access. We should have a tacky chair contest.
