America loves kids, but Uncle Sam has a favorite: children of refugees.
Among recipients of food stamps, welfare cash and Social Security payments, refugee children receive more in taxpayer-funded aid than children of citizens, according to a new report on federal spending from the pro-immigration Migration Policy Institute.
For example, 30 percent of refugee children live in households that received food stamps from 2009-13. Among American children, the number was 27 percent, said the report titled, “Young Children of Refugees in the United States: Integration Successes and Challenges.”
The numbers are aggregate. These programs are based on family income. They show that 30% of refugee families are struggling enough. Require aid. 27% of american families get similar aid.
Getting a good job is hard enough for an American worker. The refugees are fairing just a bit worse.

They are both being cared for. Taking funds from the refugees will not increase support for American poor.
The headline is a misstatement of the numbers. They do not get more benefits. The numbers are as a percentage of their ethnic group.
There are not as many refugees in this country as there are American citizens. Comparing the percentages of each group distorts the numbers. And on a per family basis they do not receive more benefits. Benefits are determined bu income and need.

We’d better smarten up a bit
The biggest factor of why Seniors are losing more and more benefits. They are getting blamed for the country going broke.
This has gone out to almost two million people .
It’s easy to dismiss individual programs that benefit non-citizens until they’re put together and this picture emerges.
Someone did a lot of research to put together all of this data. Often these programs are buried within other programs making them difficult to find.
