>o, boy,just great.
>Maybe you should go and learn something???
>no thanks to that.but thank you.i seen to much over in that dump.i spent two years in kuwait.
>What “dump” is that? Are you saying Kuwait is a dump? Or has the Islamic FAITH been magically transformed into a run down PLACE somewhere? That is like saying “oh yeah, Christianity…that place is a dump.” I appreciate that you spent two years in the military (I am guessing). But, perhaps the two years you spent in Kuwait might have been better spent in a couple more years of high school…got knows you could use some more education.
>well I’ve been to camden and thats really a dump high school education or no…
>We keep hearing about how Islam is a religion of peace, and that the radicals only make up a tiny minority. What I want to hear more from the so called peaceful majority is loud condemnation regarding the acts of radical Islam. Until that’s done, I’m really not in the least bit interested in attending something like this where we Westerners are all made to feel like we’re the ones who need to understand the religion more. Interestly enough, after the 7/7 bomb explosions in London, a poll was taken of British muslims and it was amazing just how many felt that the actions were “understandable”.
>no islam is not a dump.but what i seen over in the middle east is to much for me.so thankyou for your time.and iam, a beleve in buda.so good buy.
>who cares anyway.
>what,beet it.
>I am waiting for the day when a member of the underground ex-Moslem community in Bergen county may gather courage, come out of the closet, excerice his/her right of free speech by sitting across the table and debate these pro-Moslem speakers on the realities of Moslem opperession against its ex-members who left the “faith” – which is btw not only taking place in Taliban country, but right here in in 21st century America.

I have had some very good experiences with the organization in the above link …
its not PC its cowardice or are they the same ?
>Very familiar with the website and a good forum for moderate moslems in the US to express their views. Will their efforts to modernize Islam come to fruition? Time will tell.. However, we need a few of these good folks to become active grass roots ambassadors of American and western values – not in the sense of traveling and preaching in their ancesteral homelands in the middle east and north africa – but more imortantly spread the good word to the mosques, islamic organizations , the moslem communities in Dearborn, Bay Ridge, Jersey City, Paterson and tell the real story of America. Alas, that is still severly lacking. You will never ever find a posting about a “community discussion on american and western civilization values” being scheduled at your nearby friendly mosque. Meanwhile, on the other hand we in Ridgewood/Glen Rock and mainstream America always feel compelled to open the doors of “understanding”. Many of these “forums” actually end up to become single threaded lectures bordering propaganda sessions without any challenging or countering points of view.
And I am still wondering how do these “moderate” moslems feel about fellow moslems that chose to leave the faith and follow other beliefs?
