GREEN AGENDA GRILLED! Sherrill Blames PJM for NJ Energy Crisis While Ignoring Murphy’s ‘Moronic’ Mandates

Trenton NJ, Governor-Elect Mikie Sherrill is positioning herself as a pragmatic leader ready to bring “everyone” to the table. However, the Common Sense Club, is wasting no time in demanding accountability, especially when it comes to the stark realities facing New Jerseyans.
In a statement the Common Sense Club says, “We’ve watched her voting record in Congress, and it’s time to cut the “moderate” marketing. The key question remains: is the voice of the Common Sense Majority truly welcome at the decision-making “table,” or is it already occupied by what we see as powerful, vested Leftist interests?”
Sherrill’s recent appearance on Face the Nation offered a clear glimpse into her administration’s likely strategy, prompting strong criticism, particularly regarding the escalating energy cost crisis.
The Energy Crisis Blame Game: PJM vs. Green Mandates
When addressing the skyrocketing energy costs, Sherrill took direct aim at PJM, the regional grid operator, for having “really screwed up the market.”
We view this as classic misdirection, typical of the New Jersey Left and Governor Phil Murphy’s acolytes. Instead of acknowledging the clear infrastructure failure stemming from her party’s policies, Sherrill is effectively blaming PJM for not adopting the green energy program fast enough.
Here is the timeline we believe reveals the real cause of the energy cost crisis:
- May 2018: The “Clean Energy Act” – Governor Murphy signed legislation that led to the premature shutting down of coal and nuclear power plants. The last one closed in December 2022.
- 2020: The “Energy Master Plan” – Executive Orders 100 and 315 were signed, forcing the state toward a 100% clean energy goal by 2035.
- The Fallout: With traditional energy sources gutted and PJM struggling to integrate viable, immediately ready “clean” alternatives, prices inevitably spiked.
The pain New Jerseyans are feeling is the direct result of an ideological, rushed agenda that prioritized a “win for donors” over the practical realities of powering the state. The much-touted offshore wind energy that was supposed to solve these problems is facing constant, multi-year delays.
Contradictory Solutions and Political Blame
Sherrill offered several statements that we believe reveal a disregard for financial reality:
- “Every electron we produce in New Jersey will defray the cost…” While this sounds appealing, we argue the true solution is not gutting traditional energy sources to appease groups like the Sierra Club (who endorsed her and strongly back the Green New Deal).
- Declaring a State of Emergency: Sherrill announced plans to declare a State of Emergency to freeze rate hikes. This is, in our opinion, a political move that attempts to stop the pain without addressing the root cause created by her own party’s mandates. Governments cannot operate indefinitely outside of financial reality.
- Blaming National Politics: When discussing the overall crisis, Sherrill stated that “so much of [this crisis] is really imposed by Donald Trump” and the risk of a government shutdown. We believe this is a deflection from state-level policy failures.
The statement concluded ,”Accountability for the economic burden facing New Jersey starts at the state level. We will continue to scrutinize Governor-Elect Sherrill’s policies to ensure they serve the needs of the Common Sense Majority, not just the agenda of her political base.”

Let’s save a lot of time.
The Law of Supply and Demand has not been repealed.
High demand with low supply equals high price.
In the end Mikie will blame everything on Donald Trump.
Due to honor violations she was not allowed to participate in the USNA graduation of her class.
That type of issue is now a qualification for the job.
Massachusetts south………………….
She will be far worse than Murphy. She is absolutely clueless.
But she has better teeth……………..
Murphy with better teeth! Too funny
