Notably, Atlantic salmon portions are now priced at $8.69 per pound, offering a budget-friendly option for healthy summer meals.

“While customers may see higher prices at other retailers, we’re working hard to unlock even more value for our shoppers, just in time for summer’s lineup of holidays and gatherings where food takes center stage,” said Aldi U.S. CEO Jason Hart. “It’s another way we’re doubling down on our commitment to help shoppers fill their carts with great products for less.”
The Illinois-based Aldi U.S. operation is owned by Aldi SĂĽd in Essen, Germany. The company also plans to expand with over 225 new store openings this year, further growing its reach across the U.S.
