Mahwah NJ, all 5 Mahwah Fire Companies, Mahwah EMS, Mahwah Police, and many of our neighboring mutual aid departments assisted today to quickly extinguish a fast moving fire off of Wyckoff Avenue. Mahwah Fire Department were joined by Mahwah EMS, Mahwah Police, and mutual aid units to fight a 3rd Alarm fire in Co 4’s district.
Jim Wysocki Mayor of Mahwah said in a Facebook post :
“Hi everyone,
This afternoon the township’s Fire Dept, EMS and Police Dept responded to a devastating house fire on Wyckoff Ave in the Fardale section of the township. Our Township owes a debt of gratitude to everyone who responded to this incident. I would like to thank the many neighboring mutual aid fire departments and EMS depts from Bergen and Rockland County, NY who assisted. Mahwah thanks all of you from the bottom of our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with the residents of the house. Thank God no one was seriously injured.
