Glen Rock NJ, for the second time in less than four (4) months, Glen Rock Police and Glen Rock Fire Department units responded to 11 Harristown Road, Glen Rock on reports of automatic fire suppression system that was activated due to a delivery van getting wedged underneath of the building. No injuries were reported in the incident, and damage was limited to several broken sprinkler heads and acoustic ceiling tiles. A tow truck operator released air from the stuck vehicle’s tires in order that it could be driven out from under the building. The roof of the van, operated by a contractor for Amazon, sustained significant damage.
As a rule, Amazon drivers need practice I have noticed…
And why call the police. Call a tow truck. How many more people we need standing around.
“And why call the police.”
Uhhh…because the driver caused property damage, and the owner of the property needs a police report to be prepared in order for the legal process to move forward and money damages to be paid in the end?
Actually it’s a 3rd party freight broker with an Amazon contract
… for the nit pickers 🙂
Over paid ,
Please stop, there’s gonna be a new ordinance coming across the board from insurance companies that are not going to need any police report anymore, take pictures with your phone send in Directly. I’ll do my own report. I don’t need 10 people standing around making reports ridiculous,
