Ridgewood NJ, watching Monday nights BOE meeting it is important to address the behavior on Mr. Lembo’s part, which I find very troubling.
This is appalling behavior by the Ridgewood Board of Education member . The incident occurred between 4:08-4:11 and then from 4:19-4:22. Thank you for your attention

Didn’t Lembo have a family member hired? Maybe that is why he should not be on the personnel ctee. He is a bully and hopefully wont be voted in for another term.
Yes his girlfriend was hired as confidential secretary and that job was not posted anywhere.
If that job was not posted anywhere, isn’t it a failure of the whole board? How is the board allowing the president to hire without proper advertising?

Kwak has a very valid concern and handled it very professionally.
Lembo was pushing Kwak to come right out and talk about Lembo’s personal life.
Kwak resisted and kept it professional.
Lembo’s behavior is very telling and frankly a little scary.

It’s telling that kwak had to tell a police officer and president of the board Mike Lembo that “silence is NOT consent”.
She was trying to stay silent and not “out” the fact that Lembo hired her girl friend during prior weeks committee meeting to which he appointed himself!
Lembo should not be on the personnel committee if he is conflicted with her girl friend being hired as a district staff!!
Why is she remaining silent? Speak up or shut up. You can’t have it both ways. Any why are both of them raising their hands for the other to be quiet. Where did they learn their manners?
She does not want to embarrass Mr. Lembo in public. Lembo hires his girlfriend and Ms. Kwak is discretely saying that he should recuse himself from BoE personnel and staffing matters due to conflict of interest. Kwak doesn’t even slam Lembo when he attempts to bait her. Very classy and professional on her part.
Kwak is being extraordinarily professional. Lembo is being frighteningly unprofessional. He needs to go.

Lembo is a police officer. He is sworn to uphold the law and maintain the peace. He is a fraud plain and simple.

there is no way to defend Lembo here. Kwak was professional and discrete, but firm. Lembo was horrible. God awful. He has a wife, kids, a girlfriend, Jesus. What a classless POS.
The fact that you don’t realize he has been divorced for two years means you clearly don’t know him and are just making things up. This is all sad that people would drag a good person and his family through the mud for this. Very telling.
Hmmm. If he’s really divorced for two years, then why is he using his old address for official purposes?

It is bizarre that a civil servant can hold a BOE or VC position.
He is not a good person. His father was. But his father would be so ashamed of his son Mike.
Lembo needs to go. His social media posts, actions at BOE meetings, demeanor and decorum are unprofessional. Huge conflict of interest with him being a PO and BOE member and allowing his girlfriend to be hired etc..
Unprofessional and always embarrassing
