Lodi NJ, A 27-year-old Passaic County man is behind bars today following a terrifying home invasion and knifepoint sexual assault in Bergen County. The arrest, involving a regional SWAT team, concludes an intensive investigation by local and county authorities.
Suspect Apprehended in Prospect Park
Valentino Tusha, a resident of Prospect Park, was arrested on Tuesday, February 10, by the Bergen County Regional SWAT Team. He faces multiple first-degree charges following an incident that has shaken the local community.
Details of the Investigation
The case began on Sunday, February 8, when the Lodi Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding an alleged aggravated sexual assault.
According to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, investigators determined that Tusha unlawfully entered the home of an acquaintance. Once inside, he allegedly used a knife to commit the sexual assault.

Current Status
Tusha was arrested without incident in Prospect Park and has been remanded to the Bergen County Jail. He is currently awaiting his first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack.
