Fair Lawn NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announces the following information:
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Investigations Squad and the Fair Lawn Police Department are investigating an armed robbery and shooting incident that occurred earlier this morning in Fair Lawn, NJ.
On Sunday, February 2, 2025, at approximately 4:54 am, the Fair Lawn Police Department responded to a shooting that had just occurred at the intersection of Henderson Boulevard and 11th Street. Officers from the Fair Lawn Police Department arrived, discovered ballistic evidence, and were able to ascertain that the shooting was connected to an armed robbery with no injuries reported. Shortly thereafter, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Investigations Squad was notified, responded, and initiated a joint investigation with the Fair Lawn Police Department. The incident appears to be isolated, and there is no indication of any wider threat or ongoing threat to the community.
This ongoing investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck and the Fair Lawn Police Department under the direction of Chief Glen Cauwels. At this time, while the investigation is active and ongoing, no more details are available.

I gotta tell you, Fairlawn is going to shit North Patterson, that town is disgusting. It’s filthy, way of building, way too many people in the town now. I can imagine the school system must be some shit show. How many apartments did they add in the past few years thousands. Over by the high away 208 it looks like the projects. I don’t know why anyone would want to invest in that town. In the past few years, it went down the tubes.
You must have went to school in Ridgewood. Learn how to spell, correctly. Fair Lawn is east of Paterson. The towns north of Paterson are Prospect Park & Haledon.
The town had to add most of those apartments because of Mt. Laurel & a builders remedy lawsuit from the Radburn association. Wait until Ridgewood is forced to build apartment buildings in the lovely Ridgewood ghetto by the car wash.

Henderson Blvd. is along Maple Ave. by the bridge to Ptown. Maple Ave also goes to Ridgewood. Just a reminder.
Fairlawn is a shit show.
Mt Laurel was the most destructive thing to happen in NJ in my lifetime. The mandated density is way too high for “suburbs “ and when the rest of the construction is done around the rest of the county the highways will be parking lots at rush hour.
When I first moved to Ridgewood in 2002 I had a family of raccoons living in my tree for many years and a possum and a little deer herd. And Twinney Pond was beautiful and home to a family of blue herons and little fish. Now it’s a mud pile 😢. All the overbuilding is destroying what made this area special.
Now we have shootings- too close to home.
