Ridgewood NJ, as several readers commented yesterday on the fact the Bergen Record decided to celebrate Labor Day by taking the day off and not publish .
A reader messaged us on Facebook saying, “NO Record Newspaper today! They decided to NOT publish today and give everyone the day off. Guess there is NO news to print?”
No news or no fake news that’s the question .
Readers added a list of hypotheses ,which included mentions of a Union contract .
Perhaps it would have been better for the paper to have declared , No News Today , or Nothing New to report , or We simply ran out of Fake News .
i cancelled my subscription to that turd years ago.
It just reprints garbage from their other papers.

Remember before Gannett bought the Wretched and its local gazettes?
The locals had tons of local news and a few ads. Now there are a few pages of local news and about three times the weight of those pages in ads.

The Borg took the big bucks for his slanted publication and ran. They’re not even a news source anymore since the went full on indoctrination.
This used to be a decent newspaper – but Gannet did it in. I cancelled subscription long time ago

Many years ago, I had a professor in grad school who was head of the Bergen county Democrats.
He told us that his opinion was that he would not insult a dead fish by wrapping it in a copy of the Wretched.
I only know if your people it’s still read it, they like to Sunday comics, cuppa coffee if you want English muffins, and took a nice dump for an hour
It is OK with me if the Bergen Record continues its Labor Day moratorium 365 days a year
Democrats only get where they get by ownership of almost all media (TV, newspapers, internet), the ability to indoctrinate the young through teachers/professors, and of course, cheating.
The paper has taken more or less the last twenty-five years off from engaging in any serious journalism so no biggie.
