Lyndhurst, NJ – The spirit of friendly competition was alive and rolling this past weekend as Bergen County’s 15th Annual Bocce Tournament returned to its traditional home at Riverside Park South in Lyndhurst, NJ. The event brought together community members, local officials, and bocce enthusiasts for a beloved county tradition.

Leading the charge for the official “Team Bergen” was Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco, who expressed how much he enjoyed participating alongside the County Commissioners. “Had a great time attending Bergen County’s 15th Annual Bocce Tournament,” Tedesco commented, emphasizing the importance of continuing this great local event.

18 Teams and Non-Stop Action

A total of 18 teams from across Bergen County converged on the Lyndhurst park to compete for bragging rights and the coveted top spots. The tournament is a testament to the strong community bonds and the appreciation for outdoor sports in Northern New Jersey.

The level of skill was high, and the competition was fierce, culminating in two well-deserved champions!

  • Second Place Winner: “Amici Italiano”
