Ridgewood NJ, Congratulations to Brendan Sheehan, a proud Willard alumnus, on his Broadway debut in Gypsy! This incredible milestone is a testament to Brendan’s hard work, talent, and the unwavering support of his family, friends, and educators.
From Boston Conservatory to Broadway
Brendan, a 2024 graduate of Boston Conservatory, shared his gratitude and excitement as he prepares to take the stage as Yonkers in Gypsy at the iconic Majestic Theater this November. Reflecting on the journey, Brendan expressed:
“I really didn’t know if this moment would ever come, and I definitely didn’t think it would come so soon. This wouldn’t be possible without the constant support of my family, friends, and the wonderful educators I’ve had the pleasure of learning from.”
A Heartfelt Thanks
Brendan extended his appreciation to the casting and creative team of Gypsy, as well as the team at Henderson Hogan Agency, for believing in him every step of the way. He also shared fond memories of his time with Funny Girl, sending love to its cast, crew, and creative team.
Willard and RPS Proud
Willard staff and Ridgewood Public Schools couldn’t be prouder of Brendan’s achievement. Many ventured to the Majestic Theater to support their former student and celebrate his incredible performance.
“What an amazing achievement! We are Maroon Proud!”

Maybe I missed but what year did he graduate from RHS ?
If he graduated from Boston Conservatory in 2024, maybe RHS Class of 2020? …although it doesn’t say that he continued in the Ridgewood school system beyond Willard.
