Albany NY , President Biden on Tuesday called for New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) to resign after the state attorney general concluded the governor sexually harassed numerous state employees.
“I think he should resign,” Biden told reporters. Biden in March told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos that Cuomo should resign and potentially face criminal prosecution if an investigation validated allegations of sexual harassment.
New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) on Tuesday released the findings of a months-long investigation that concluded Cuomo sexually harassed multiple state employees, including a state trooper assigned to his security detail, and created a hostile work environment.
“Specifically, the investigation found that Gov. Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed current and former New York state employees by engaging in unwelcome and nonconsensual touching and making numerous offensive comments of a suggestive and sexual nature that created a hostile work environment for women,” James said at a news conference detailing the findings.
James noted the report was a civil one, not one that would result in criminal referrals.
While Cuomo remains defiant in a pre-recorded response to the investigation, denying wrongdoing and saying he would not resign.
Biden joined scores of other Democrats, including Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), in calling for Cuomo to step down in light of James’s findings. New York Democrats have overwhelmingly called on Cuomo to step down. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), a strong advocate for sexual assault survivors, reiterated her call for Cuomo to resign in the wake of the attorney general’s report, and Reps. Hakeem Jeffires (D-N.Y.), Gregory Meeks (D-N.Y.) and Tom Suozzi (D-N.Y.) joined the chorus of lawmakers urging the governor to step down as well.
Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul (D), who would replace Cuomo if he resigned or were removed from office, called his behavior documented in the attorney general’s report “repulsive and unlawful,” but stopped short of calling for him to step down, citing her place in the line of succession.
As people of the tri-state area and the rest of the country watch the news unfold about New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, Republican candidate for New Jersey Governor Jack Ciattarelli was quick asking Phil Murphy to join the call for Cuomo’s resignation.
While Governor Murphy’s record on women is disgraceful , Ciattarelli pointed out:
1)Governor Murphy is the most anti-woman governor this state has seen.
2)Phil Murphy has shown an offensive level of disregard for women who were victims of harassment, abuse, and even rape. He even forced women on his campaign to sign gag orders to silence them about the toxic, animal house environment on his campaign.
3)When it comes to abusing and harassing women, Governor Murphy and those around have him have continually covered up and made excuses for the misogynistic – and sometimes violent behavior – of powerful men in their circle.
Will Governor Murphy do the right thing and call on Governor Cuomo to resign?

This is all about politics how come these people didn’t come out years ago. All the sudden now somethings not right, maybe it’s about they don’t want him to be in politics anymore.
A few people in the Village of Ridgewood should resign over harassment .
I hope they change the bridge back to the Tapan Zee Bridge, or something cool, like Da Bridge.
My question is why did they wait so long to come out. And why is everything all the sudden coming out now. And there’s photos of him kissing many men does that mean he’s gay to. And why were they recording him, some scam is going on. And the president has some set of balls to come out and say that he should resign. Talk about a hypocrite dirty Joe he’s known for touching hugging Kissing doing the same thing he is so full of shit. Wake up people, And this is not about if we like them or not, this is dirty politics
