Donald Trump scolded media big shots during an off-the-record Trump Tower sitdown on Monday, sources told The Post.
“It was like a f–ing firing squad,” one source said of the encounter.
“Trump started with [CNN chief] Jeff Zucker and said ‘I hate your network, everyone at CNN is a liar and you should be ashamed,’ ” the source said.
“The meeting was a total disaster. The TV execs and anchors went in there thinking they would be discussing the access they would get to the Trump administration, but instead they got a Trump-style dressing down,” the source added.
A second source confirmed the fireworks.
“The meeting took place in a big board room and there were about 30 or 40 people, including the big news anchors from all the networks,” the other source said.
“Trump kept saying, ‘We’re in a room of liars, the deceitful dishonest media who got it all wrong.’ He addressed everyone in the room calling the media dishonest, deceitful liars. He called out Jeff Zucker by name and said everyone at CNN was a liar, and CNN was [a] network of liars,” the source said.

CNN was once a pretty decent news network. It was a reliable place to get breaking news. Bias was always there but it was subtle. It has devolved into what it is today, an outrageous and unwatchable propaganda machine for Democrat policy. It’s dying ratings reflect this.
One who deserves to catch a ration of excrement receives such ration, and we are to concern ourselves with that person’s wee wittwe huwt feewings? Sorry, lying political press, you can dine alone on your excrement sandwich and like it. Your reputation is now quite clearly reduced to that of pond scum and it is up to you to figure out a way to get yourselves somewhere back into the same zip code of the good graces of average Americans. We have more important things to do and think about and we won’t shed a tear if you expire of sheer exhaustion trying to figure out a profitable way to cover the Trump/Pence administration .
Not happening 9:17…the damage done and the complete embarrassment that these assholes made of themselfs all in an effort to dupe the American people and further their agenda is inexcusable . It simply cannot be fixed nor should it be. Anyway, the print and broadcast media was drying a slow death and this simply put the last nail in the coffin. Bye Felicia .
