Dr. Daniel Fishbein : April Recess has been Cancelled
LETTER FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT

In order to meet the mandatory 180 day requirement ,Dr Fishbien has announced that due to inclement weather and school closing ,April recess has been cancelled and school will be open Monday April 14th and Tuesday April 15th , if additional school days will be taken starting with Wednesday April 16th.
Only two days have been cancelled.
Still messes up anyone who had flights and hotels for the entire week.
take a walk , I;m taking my kids away, so you can go into the school. why don’t walk around the schools and see what needs to be cleaned. yeh.
Why not add a few days at the end of the year, as has been done in every school since the beginning of time, instead of screwing with highly anticipated (and much needed after this shit winter we’ve had) family vacations?
Is this an example of “Dr*” Fishbein “thinking outside the box” to justify his quarter million $ salary?
(if you didn’t go to medical school and don’t treat the sick, kindly refrain from calling yourself a Doctor”, especially if your Doctorate is in a soft discipline)

#5 “relative” to what? Do you mean “objective”? Because that would make more sense.
And I stand by my statement. The title “Dr.” should be reserved for those who’ve earned it. Not for someone who wrote and defended theses on “educational theory” or some such quackery.

Why not let them make the days up on Saturdays.
It is very clearly stated that the April recess can be cut short to make up for snow days. Anyone making vacation plans should be well aware of this. As for adding days at the end of the year or adding Saturdays, this just won’t fly with families and definitely won’t fly with the teachers union.
People stop your whinny bitching already and rethink your priorities.
