Oakland NJ, a single-vehicle crash on Monday, March 31, at the intersection of Allen Drive and Franklin Avenue resulted in significant damage to a home after the driver reportedly suffered a medical episode behind the wheel.
Emergency responders, including Oakland Police Department, Oakland Fire Department, Oakland EMS, and a paramedic team from The Valley Hospital, rushed to the scene to assist the crash victim and address any hazards.
The driver was transported via ambulance to a local hospital, while a code enforcement official assessed the structural damage to the single-family home.
A flatbed tow truck was required to remove the heavily damaged vehicle from the scene.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
