Wyckoff NJ, at approximately 0340 am, the Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a home on Lakeview Drive for an activated CO alarm. Upon the arrival of the first police officer, it was reported that they had heavy smoke and fire showing. Wyckoff Fire Chief Vanderplaat transmitted the 2nd alarm.
Around 4am this morning Waldwick, NJ Volunteer Fire Department Tower Ladder 641 was dispatched on the second alarm for a working house fire on Lakeview Drive in Wyckoff Upon arrival the truck located in the driveway of the home and put the bucket to the roof where crew’s assisted in ventilation.
A quick knock down of all visible fire took place by firefighters on scene. The fire was brought under control within one hour. Thanks to our mutual aid partners that responded both to the scene and for coverage. No injuries reported .
