Fair Lawn NJ, starting April 1, 2025, the Fair Lawn Police Department (FLPD) will no longer accept overnight parking requests via telephone service (Metro Message, 201-794-5399). Instead, all overnight parking requests must be submitted exclusively through the police department’s website at fairlawnpd.com/parking.
New Online System for Overnight Parking Requests
Residents and visitors who need overnight parking between 2:00 AM and 5:00 AM must now enter their vehicle’s license plate online. The system allows users to:
✔ Submit parking requests 24/7
✔ Register a vehicle no earlier than 24 hours before the requested date
✔ Track the number of overnight parking allowances used
Overnight Parking Rules & Regulations
The Fair Lawn parking ordinance remains unchanged, meaning:

🚗 A maximum of 14 overnight parking requests are allowed per calendar year
🚗 The ordinance applies to all public and municipal parking areas
