Glen Rock Nj, Glen Rock Police patrol officers took an individual into custody late Tuesday morning, 06/06, in connection with the alleged possession of fictitious NJ State temporary license plates with an intent to sell same. The apprehension took place in the parking lot of a CVS store located at 175 Rock Road, Glen Rock following a “consent search” of the individual’s motor vehicle by responding patrol officers. A concerned citizen who claimed to have arranged a meeting at the CVS to purchase one of the license plates, tipped Glen Rock Police by phone of the proposed transaction. The detained individual was transported by Glen Rock PD headquarters for further investigation and possible arrest processing.
