PARAMUS, NJ — A Tuesday morning mishap at the Trader Joe’s on Route 17 North caused a brief commotion, after a white Mazda CX-90 accidentally crashed into a support pillar in front of the popular grocery store. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
Officials say the driver was pulling into a parking space around 8/5 when the vehicle suddenly lurched forward, striking a structural pillar at the storefront. At least one airbag deployed and the SUV suffered moderate front-end damage.

The damaged Mazda had to be towed from the scene due to the collision.
