Flood Advisory in Effect for Northeast New Jersey Until 9:15 PM

Twp of Washington NJ,  Flood Advisory has been issued for parts of Northeast New Jersey, including Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic, and Union counties. Residents should prepare for urban and small stream flooding due to excessive rainfall.

Key Advisory Details

  • What: Minor flooding expected in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  • Where: Cities impacted include Newark, Jersey City, Paterson, Elizabeth, Passaic, Bayonne, Wayne, Hoboken, Plainfield, Bloomfield, Hackensack, and more.
  • When: Effective until 9:15 PM EST Wednesday.
  • Rainfall Totals:
    • Already fallen: 0.5 to 1.5 inches.
    • Additional expected: 0.25 to 0.5 inches.
