FAIR LAWN, NJ — Heavy flooding brought traffic to a standstill along Route 208 southbound at Morlot Avenue on the morning of Tuesday, June 10, as torrential rain overwhelmed storm drains and submerged both travel lanes and shoulders.
🚨 Emergency response teams from the Fair Lawn Police Department and the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) acted swiftly to control traffic, assist stranded drivers, and clear storm drains blocked by debris. At least one vehicle had to be towed from the flooded roadway.
