Paramus NJ, Van Saun Park’s Winter Wonderland is bringing holiday magic to Bergen County with special events lined up for Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa. Running through mid-January, the festive attraction offers activities for all ages, from free skating to cultural celebrations.
Holiday Week Schedule at Winter Wonderland
While Winter Wonderland will be closed on Christmas Day, it reopens on Dec. 26 at 11 a.m. and stays open until 9 p.m., with the same hours on Friday, Dec. 27. Here’s what’s happening this week:
Friday: Santacon and Live Music
- Dress in your best Santa gear for free skate rentals.
- Enjoy discounts on bumper car rides: half price for the second ride and the third ride is free.
- Ampliphy will perform live rock music from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
- Local Bergen County brewery Brix City will host the Holiday Tap Takeover from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday: Hanukkah Menorah Lighting Celebration
- A special Menorah Lighting takes place at 6:30 p.m.
- Live music, craft vendors, and local beer offerings enhance the festive atmosphere.
Sunday: Kwanzaa Kinara Lighting Celebration
- Celebrate Kwanzaa with a Kinara Lighting at 5:30 p.m.
- The day will also feature live music, craft vendors, and local brews.
New Attractions for 2024-2025
This year’s Winter Wonderland introduces exciting new features, including:
- Holiday Tap Takeover: Showcasing local Bergen County breweries.
- Winter Craft Village: A marketplace with local vendors and small businesses.
