It might be freezing outside, but the “Big Freeze” of 2026 won’t last forever. While the Hudson River is currently clogged with ice, the Ridgewood Recreation Department is already looking ahead to sunny days at Graydon Pool.

• Where: Ridgewood Community Center (Village Hall, 131 N. Maple Ave)

• Who: Students (16+), young adults, and retirees looking for seasonal work.

Available Positions for Summer 2026

The Village is looking to fill a variety of roles, including:

• Waterfront Lifeguards: (Certification required—training is available!)

• Camp Counselors: Lead activities for the Ridgewood Summer Day Camp.

• Security & Badge Attendants: The “face” of Graydon Pool at the front gate.

• Maintenance Crew: Keep our “sand-bottom” oasis in pristine condition.

• Concession Staff: Work at the Water’s Edge Café.
