PARAMUS, NJ — The aisles of Stew Leonard’s were a little more glamorous this Friday as world-renowned supermodel Ashley Graham made a highly anticipated stop in Bergen County. The icon visited the famous Paramus location on Feb. 27 to celebrate the launch of her premium sparkling red wine, Lucci Lambrusco.

From “Lucci Floats” to signing vintage magazine covers, here is the inside look at the star-studded event that brought hundreds of fans to the Garden State.

A Taste of Italy in Bergen County

Straight from the heart of Emilia-Romagna, Italy, Graham’s Lucci is a dry sparkling red Lambrusco produced in collaboration with the legendary Alberto Medici, a fourth-generation winemaker. The partnership was sparked when Blake Leonard (daughter of Stew Leonard Jr.) connected with Medici at the prestigious Wine Paris event earlier this year.

More Than Just a Bottle Signing

Ashley Graham, a trailblazer with over a decade of experience gracing the runways of Victoria’s Secret and the pages of Vogue, proved she is just as charismatic off the camera.

Fans lined up for hours, some carrying a dozen bottles of Lucci for the supermodel to sign. Others brought a piece of history: the iconic 2016 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, which featured Graham as the first-ever curve model on the cover.

The “Lucci Float”: A New Way to Sip

In a moment that went viral among attendees, Graham hopped behind the Stew Leonard’s ice cream counter to showcase her favorite way to enjoy the sparkling red. She mixed the Lucci Lambrusco with classic vanilla ice cream, creating what she calls the “Lucci Float”—a sophisticated twist on a childhood favorite.

Paramus: The New Hub for Celebrity Spirits

This visit solidifies Paramus as a premier destination for celebrity brand launches. Following in the footsteps of 50 Cent, who promoted his Branson Cognac at this same Stew Leonard’s in 2024, and WWE star Liv Morgan, who recently visited the local Total Wine, Graham’s appearance drew massive crowds to the Route 17 corridor.
