Glen Rock NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of DR. CARL RENNER (DOB: 03/13/1952; married; employed as a doctor) of 61 Waldron Avenue, Glen Rock, NJ on a charge of Sexual Assault. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti and the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department under the direction of Chief Michael Colaneri.
On Monday, June 3, 2019, the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department received information that Dr. Carl RENNER sexually assaulted a patient at his medical practice during a routine doctor visit. RENNER is a general practitioner at Heights Medical Associates located at 288 Boulevard, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. An investigation was initiated by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department.
As a result of the investigation, Dr. Carl RENNER was arrested on Thursday, June 6, 2019 in Paramus, NJ and charged with one count of Sexual Assault, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2c(1), a 2nd degree crime. RENNER was transported to the Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, NJ on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 1:30 p.m.
Prosecutor Musella states that the charge is merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, and he would like to thank the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department for its assistance in this investigation.

he is an amazing respectful doctor.
Dr. Renner is without a doubt a wonderful , humble loving person as well as an excellent internist. Charging such a man who over the years helped and healed so many is an absolute crime of the accuser. This doctor/family man is last of his ,kind, making house call to many of the sick and elderly. By the way, it takes two to Tango! Dr Renner is a staples in the community, What has the accuser done for her community or for anyone? GOD Bless you Dr Renner, you will get through this our prayers are with you.
I am shocked and cannot even fathom Dr Renner doing anything like this. His exams cover more than most physicians are willing to do but never have I felt while being examined that he was doing anything other than following medical procedures. He has recommended other specialists at times when I had complaints and his tests showed further examination was necessary. He had a way to insist you go for further review if he believed for a second that your health was in danger. In fact he saved my life !! He is a Saint. Sorry this has ruined his reputation and will follow him long after he has his license restored. People don’t think what an accusation can do to someone forever, just that his exams may have been more detailed than others had done, not that his only reason for the extra care was to insure the patient’s continued good health.
