GLEN ROCK, NJ — Emergency crews rushed to the scene of a single-vehicle rollover crash on Andover Terrace in Glen Rock Saturday evening, August 16, after an Audi SUV overturned in the roadway.\
According to officials, the adult driver and sole occupant of the vehicle managed to self-extricate through a broken front window before first responders arrived. Despite the dramatic crash, the driver refused medical treatment at the scene.
Emergency Response in Glen Rock
The Glen Rock Police Department, Glen Rock Fire Department, and Glen Rock EMS all responded quickly to secure the area and provide aid. Firefighters ensured the vehicle posed no further hazards while EMS crews evaluated the driver.
A tow truck was brought in to upright the overturned Audi and safely remove it from the scene. No other vehicles or individuals were involved in the crash.
Community Safety Reminder
The Glen Rock Volunteer Fire Department emphasized the importance of seatbelt use and cautious driving, particularly on residential streets like Andover Terrace.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Glen Rock Police.
