GLEN ROCK, NJ — Police have identified a suspect accused of walking out of a CVS in Glen Rock with more than $4,300 worth of merchandise last month.

Authorities said Fernando Fernandez, 34, whose last known address was in Flushing, NY, is now wanted for shoplifting. A warrant has been issued in connection with the incident, which took place on June 10 at the CVS located in the Rock Road Central Business District.

🛍 How the CVS Shoplifting Happened

According to police, the store manager reported that just before 7 p.m., a man entered the CVS and began filling a basket and several bags with skin care, beauty, and eye care products.

By the time he left, the total value of the stolen items was $4,318.19.

Employees reportedly did not notice the theft in real time, but the entire incident was captured on the store’s video surveillance system.

The suspect was described as:

  • A Black male, bald, with a full beard

  • Wearing a dark t-shirt, gray sweatpants, and black glasses

  • Appeared to be in his 30s and stood just under 6 feet tall

Video images were forwarded to the Glen Rock Police Detective Bureau, which led to Fernandez being identified as the suspect.

  2. is this Mayberry RFD?

    1. No it is a city. Glenrock and Ridgewood are part of the city of Bergen. Increasing crime, part of a catch and release liberal state, over development, unmanageable traffic and leaders who do not have the gut to address the real problems.

  3. WTF.

We’re arresting people for stealing again?

I thought Biden and The Democrats outlawed crime…
