Graydon Pool – Sloped Entry Ramp – Update
Update:
For two years the Village Council, Community, and Village Staff has discussed options to increase accessibility into Graydon Pool.
A ramp allowing direct access into the pool has been designed and is waiting for approval from NJDEP.

for current site plan documents.
Is this marked with what changed? I don’t recall steps onto the ramp, is that new? And how can they build steps that are in the spill way area? Isn’t that just asking for someone to slip and fall?
And what about the concrete wall edge? I don’t recall this either. Again anothe blockage to the spillway.
Not marked with changes.
The steps are new. They would lead down from the patio, a perfect place for little kids getting ice cream to run into the deep water and/or slip and fall on concrete.
The significance of the spillway and the importance of not blocking it have been ignored throughout.
Another change as of this Jan. 2013 drawing is that the underground chlorine pipe will have to be moved.
Note the three 90-degree turns. This is an aquatic Pulaski Skyway, not an accessibility enhancement.
