East Rutherford N J, after making a splash at the American Dream in East Rutherford last year, the upscale Asian American grocer H Mart is set to enhance the culinary landscape further with the opening of a 16,680-square-foot food hall later this spring.
This new addition will feature an impressive array of 11 dining options, offering a diverse selection of cuisines. Visitors can look forward to indulging in dim sum, noodles, soup dumplings, and bubble tea. The food hall will also include Japanese curry, a customizable wok bar, an artisan bakery and coffee shop, and a range of draft beers, craft cocktails, and Korean drinks.
“Our food halls are iconic staples of H Mart stores, and our American Dream location wouldn’t feel complete without one,” said H Mart President Stacey Kwon. The food hall will be located in Court A, Level 1, right next to the H Mart grocery store, making it a convenient stop for shoppers.
The American Dream mall, known for its extensive offerings, features over 50 dining options that cater to a wide range of tastes, from fast casual to sit-down restaurants. In 2022, the mall introduced a 10,000-square-foot Food Hall on the second level in Court A, which includes stylish seating and games like Connect Four, Jenga, and corn hole.
Spanning over 3 million square feet, the American Dream mall, owned by Canadian developer Triple Five, is more than just a shopping destination. It boasts an indoor amusement park with roller coasters, an indoor water park, a 300-foot Ferris wheel, indoor miniature golf, ice skating, and the only year-round indoor ski and snowboard park in North America. Additionally, the mall is home to more than 200 stores, including flagship locations for Toys R Us and Babies R Us.
“We are beyond excited for the arrival of H Mart’s Food Hall, boasting a diverse array of tantalizing cuisines,” said Bryan Gaus, American Dream’s senior vice president and general manager. This new food hall is sure to become a highlight, offering visitors an eclectic mix of culinary delights that reflect H Mart’s commitment to quality and diversity.
