Hawes Elementary Students Learn About Active Sitting and Focused Learning Thanks to a Grant from The Valley Hospital and The Ridgewood Education Foundation

Six cube chairs were purchased for the self-contained kindergarten classroom at Hawes Elementary School. The chairs strengthen core muscles for activity, stabilization and endurance, and their use fosters improved focus and attentiveness, compared to standard classroom chairs.
