Mahwah NJ, Explore 11 different Bergen County Museums with just one ticket! Tickets are available in advance at the Schoolhouse Museum (Ridgewood), Abma’s Farm (Wyckoff), and here at the Mahwah Museum. You can also buy your tickets at the first museum you visit on 4/29. Tickets are good for all 11 participating museums.
History Day at the Mahwah Museum features five exhibits and the ever favorite, Donald Cooper Model Railroad display with new local attractions along the way! Palisades Amusement Park in Miniature delights with lighted moving model rides, attractions, and documentary. Get your photo taken in the Cyclone roller coaster replica and enjoy some free popcorn!
New exhibits include Ramapough Legacy ~ Heritage, displaying the local Native American history, Tribal Legends, Ramapough Tribal history and culture. You Are Here! tells the history of Mahwah’s train stations and town center in video. Les Paul and Mary Ford in Mahwah exhibits the story and artifacts of these legendary musicians who lived and worked in Mahwah in the 1950s.
The Lee Vold Gallery exhibits new “Performance” themed photo gallery, capturing theatrical and other unique performances in Mahwah’s community from 1980s and 90s. Our Old Station Museum (located across the street on 1871 Old Station Lane) will also be open and welcoming visitors.
