Jersey City NJ, The Hudson County Federation of Republican Women held a successful launch party June 29, Saturday night at Dorrian’s Red Hand in Jersey City. Dedicated to empowering female voices and growing women’s leadership, the launch party celebrated the newly chartered Hudson County chapter of the New Jersey Federation of Republican Women (NJFRW). The launch party was attended by women and men from across the county as well as NJ Congressional District 5 candidate Dana DiRisio, US Senate hopeful Natalie Rivera, and Gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli. GOP leaders in attendance included Hoboken Municipal Committee Chairman Chris Carbine, Hispanic Republicans of North Jersey Herminio Mendoza, NJ GOP State Committeeman from Hudson County Joshua Sotomayor Einstein, NJFRW Region 2 Vice President Celeste Homaychak, and NJFRW President Angelique Scholl.
The evening featured food and drink, as well as introductions from county chapter founder and President Kamei Harris. Ms. Harris said “it was great that we filled the private room at the restaurant both with so many people who are engaged in Republican activism as well as with powerful women from across our county.” Indeed, NJFRW President Angelique Scholl stated “the passion present in the grassroots of Hudson County GOP was palpable at the launch party.” She continued, “when I met Kamei and other leaders at the founding meet, I could tell that this chapter is going to be on the front lines of spreading the GOP message in Hudson County.”
Jack Ciatteralli, former NJ Assemblyman and the only declared GOP 2021 gubernatorial candidate running against current NJ governor fumbling Phil Murphy said “the launch of the Hudson County chapter is an exciting development.” He continued, “congratulations and gratitude to Hudson County Federation of Republican Women President Kamei Harris for her energy and dedicated efforts in support of our Republican Party.”
